Lash Extensions
Semi-permanent lash extensions are comprised of individual curved synthetic eyelashes that replicate a natural eyelash. Lashes are typically thicker at the base and taper to a fine point. They are individually applied to your own eyelashes, one extension at a time, for a natural, elegant look. These lashes are semi-permanent because they can last up to 2 months or until your own natural eyelash falls out. Lengthen and add fullness to your existing lashes. Excellent for anyone who wants longer fuller eyelashes.
Lash Extensions vs. False Eyelashes
• Conventional False Eyelashes are typically bound together in a strip and are applied with adhesive. These are applied to the eyelid right above the eyelashes. The longevity of this type of lash is very temporary in that they last only a few days. Their removal is performed by simply peeling off the eyelash strip.
• Lash Extensions are comprised of a synthetic material resembling that of an actual eyelash. They are curved and are thicker at the base and flare out to a finer tip.
• Individual lash extensions are attached to your own individual eyelashes one at a time and adhered with an eye-safe, long-lasting adhesive. You have the option of attaching one eyelash extension per eyelash up to three eyelashes extensions per eyelash enabling you to choose from a Full, Medium or Volume Application. A thorough Eyelash Extension Consultation is conducted before every Lash Extension service by a Certified Lash Extensionist to determine the right density and budget for you.
How long do Eyelash Extensions last?
We professionally apply our Eyelash Extensions, and when done so, an eyelash extension will remain in place until the natural lash upon which it rests on falls out. This can be as long as two months or more. Your own individual eyelashes will naturally shed. When they do, if a lash extension is attached to it, it will shed along with it. That is why we have created two types of interim lash fill services – one at a 3-week interval and another at a 4-week interval. At each of these intervals, our Certified Lash Extensionist will reattach new eyelash extensions to recreate the same fullness and density from your first visit.
